Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 13, 2026
This extension is designed to block YouTube ads in a lightweight way. It does not require you to create an account and it does not collect personal information.
Data we collect
We do not collect, sell, or share personal data.
Data stored on your device
The extension stores a small amount of data locally using Chrome extension storage to provide core functionality. This data stays on your device.
- On/off toggle (whether ad blocking is enabled).
- Install date (used to delay optional prompts such as a review reminder).
- Ad-blocking stats (e.g., count of blocked ads and estimated time saved).
- Prompt state (e.g., whether a reminder was dismissed or completed).
Web browsing / website content
To block YouTube ads, the extension runs code on YouTube pages and may read/modify page data necessary for ad blocking. The extension does not transmit your browsing history or page content to any server.
Network access
The extension does not send analytics, telemetry, or tracking data to a remote server. If you choose to click a link (for example, to a community page or the Chrome Web Store reviews page), your browser will open that website. Those websites have their own privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if the extension’s functionality changes. Any updates will be reflected on the page where this policy is published.
